From March 23 to 25, 2026, Trieste celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Italian Association of “Ambassadors of Taste,” a milestone that marks a decade of commitment, growth, and innovation.

At our Generali Convention Center Trieste, we notably hosted the International Congress on Tuesday, March 24: an afternoon dedicated to exploring the event’s key themes – roots, borders, and visions, as reflected in its title – offering a unique opportunity for participants and attendees to engage in an experience that combined culture, innovation, and conviviality.

Among the speakers discussing the cultural role of Italian cuisine – recognized last year by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity – its ongoing evolution, as well as its economic impact and its role in promoting culture and local territories, were internationally renowned chefs, including Michelin-starred Carlo Cracco and Antonia Klugmann.

Also among the guests was acclaimed American actor Stanley Tucci – well known for his passion for Italian cuisine and for promoting it on television – who, on the stage of our Auditorium Generali, was awarded the title of Ambassador of Taste.
