From May 26 to 28, 2026, our Generali Convention Center Trieste will host the 50th Congress of the Italian Association of Epidemiology (AIE) 2026, dedicated – as stated in the event title – to: Understand, Act, Evaluate.

After an opening day on May 25 in the Aula Magna of the University of Trieste, the event will move to our venue to explore the impact of epidemiology on prevention, public health protection, and society, through a clear conceptual approach: identifying causes (Understand), defining and planning interventions (Act), and monitoring their impact (Evaluate).
