From 19 to 21 November 2026, the Generali Convention Center Trieste will host the 13th National Conference of the AMD Foundation – Association of Italian Diabetologists.

This major event, organized with the participation of the Italian Society of Diabetology, will focus on the theme: “New Routes in Diabetology: Science, Technology, and the Organization of Care.”

The three-day conference will explore some of the most relevant topics in contemporary diabetology, including precision medicine for cardio-renal-metabolic diseases, the latest therapeutic innovations, the integration of pharmacological treatments with advanced technologies, the development of new community-based models of care, and the central role of the individual in healthcare.

The conference will also address cross-cutting issues such as equitable access to healthcare, the social determinants of health, gender differences, the sustainability of healthcare systems, and the role of prevention.
