With the beginning of September, medical and scientific conferences will resume—events that traditionally take place during certain months of the year, particularly in the autumn.

From June 5 to 7, 2025, for example, our Conference Center hosted around 400 participants, including andrologists and other healthcare professionals, who attended the National Congress of the Italian Society of Andrology (SIA), chaired by Prof. Giovanni Liguori and inaugurated in the presence of local authorities and senior representatives from the University of Trieste and the Giuliano Isontina University Health Authority (ASUGI).

Large scientific conferences are a regular feature at our Conference Center, thanks to the ample space available: two halls and two foyers that can be adapted for various uses, along with six independent rooms. These can either be used at full capacity for the most attended sessions – such as the Generali Auditorium, which seats up to 1,920 people – or customized with booths, panels, and stands to create more intimate areas for meetings or poster session exhibition spaces.

The state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and the ultra-fast GARR network connection – linking us to centers of knowledge across Italy and Europe – are a major asset for scientific events. They enable remote participation, live streaming of surgical procedures, and many other possibilities.
